Kathryn qual­i­fied as a Phys­io­ther­a­pist from The Uni­ver­sity of Sal­ford with a 1st Class Hon­ours degree in 2008. Since then she has gained a vast amount of experience.

Apart from Dynamic, Kathryn cur­rently also works at Ath­lete Mat­ters with Dun­can Mason at the Wors­ley Physio Clinic treat­ing a wide pop­u­la­tion includ­ing run­ners, tri-​athletes, swim­mers and ice hockey play­ers. She has worked at Man­ches­ter United Soc­cer Schools, Leigh Gen­e­sis Foot­ball Club as the Head Phys­io­ther­a­pist and at Black­pool Foot­ball Club. She was the full time Head Phys­io­ther­a­pist of Liv­er­pool Ladies Foot­ball Club for 3 years. Kathryn also worked in the NHS for 5 years as a Senior Phys­io­ther­a­pist in Mus­cu­loskele­tal Outpatients.

Kathryn com­pleted her Master’s degree in Sports Phys­io­ther­apy in 2015 which focussed on foot bio­me­chan­ics in marathon runners.

She has a keen inter­est in sport and injury pre­ven­tion, is a qual­i­fied Pilates instruc­tor and is trained to teach CPR and AED. Other skills include kine­si­ol­ogy tap­ing, kin­nec­tive instru­ment assisted soft tis­sue mobil­i­sa­tion, sports mas­sage and acupuncture.

Kristin Wika Paulsen

BSc (Hons) Phys­io­ther­apy, MCSP — Physiotherapist

After grad­u­at­ing from The Uni­ver­sity of Sal­ford with a BSc Hons Phys­io­ther­apy degree Kristin went straight into work­ing in pri­vate clin­ics around the Man­ches­ter area before start­ing at Dynamic in 2011. As well as work­ing in pri­vate clin­ics Kristin is the head Phys­io­ther­a­pist for the Man­ches­ter United Foun­da­tion, treat­ing ath­letes in the age groups 818 years old.

In recent years Kristin has been work­ing with Sal­ford City FC, Bar­row AFC, GB Women’s Water Polo team, run­ners and tri-​athletes across the North West. Kristin is cur­rently assist­ing a work col­league with their Phd, study­ing assess­ment, screen­ing and train­ing meth­ods in female foot­ballers across the UK aimed at injury pre­ven­tion and per­for­mance enhancement.

Kristin enjoys the vari­ety of her work com­bin­ing pri­vate clin­ics and sports injury man­age­ment giv­ing her a wide area of knowl­edge and the abil­ity to pro­vide excel­lent qual­ity Physiotherapy.
