Research into Chiropractic treatment have concluded that Chiropractic is effective in the prevention of some forms of Migraine. Your Chiropractor will conduct a detailed orthopaedic and neurological examination in order to assess the cause of your Migraines. Some Migraines are caused by nerve interference usually occurring at the top of the neck.

Sometimes a patient’s medical history will include a neck trauma event (e.g. in motor vehicle collisions), although chronic postural strain, (e.g. in patients who work at a computer or are required to engage in prolonged driving), may be factors involved in Migraine causation. Many factors will be considered including your past medical history, medication, postural and ergonomic influences and any history of injury.

Your Chiropractor is trained to diagnose the cause of your Migraines and will select the most appropriate treatment for you.
